€7million worth of suspected drugs seized by Gardaí from the Kildare/Carlow Division.
As part of ongoing investigations under Operation Tara a property in Athy was searched yesterday (Wednesday, 1st April) during which the discovery of what’s understood to be cannabis was made – the haul will now undergo analysis.

Two men in their thirties, another in his forties with a woman in her twenties were arrested and detained at Garda Stations in the Eastern Region under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
An incident room’s been set up at Carlow Garda Station while a Senior Investigating Officer has been appointed for the ongoing investigation.
