Athletics Club with 90 members from Kilkenny and Carlow focusing on next championships

Barrow Harriers Athletics Club is a busy bunch.

Just off the back of their annual fundraisers, members are gearing up for county championships in May.

Based in Graignamanagh, there are about 90 children, from ages six to fifteen years, involved from the town and surrounding areas.

Ciara O’Farrell was on hand at a recent Kilkenny Lions Club presentation night to accept some funds for the group and told KCLR News’ Edwina Grace more.;
