Lisnavagh House and Gardens in Rathvilly is hosting Féile Vegan this weekend, a festival celebrating plant-based food, wellness, and community.
The event features a range of activities, including restorative workshops, live music, international guest speakers, and food vendors.
Organiser Darragh O’Connor emphasised that the event focuses on inclusion, offering alternatives rather than taking a preachy approach.
“We go by a model of radical inclusion. So, anyone who—let’s say might not be vegan yet themselves, or maybe they’re just veggie-curious, or maybe they just want to check it out, maybe they just want to try something a little bit different—everyone’s very welcome. We really don’t think we need to be going down the route of telling people how to live their lives or being preach-y. The best thing, rather, is to just show really cool, awesome alternatives, and hope that people have a good experience. And then we can let that inform their own opinions about things then.” said Darragh.
