Three sisters and a young boy who were seriously injured in yesterday’s fatal crash on the M9 in Co Kildare remain in hospital.
Five teenage boys were killed when the stolen BMW they were travelling in was driven in the wrong direction on the motorway and collided with the family’s car.
The three women and the boy are from the Carlow area and had been travelling to the airport to catch an early flight for a family holiday.
Fr Tom Little knows the family, and says the local community is thinking of them:
“They were going to the airport on a holiday and they went in time to be able to get through the security in the airport, and I know that they have been seriously hurt and that they are in Tallaght Hospital. I just hope that they make a speedy recovery.”
