Castlecomer Community School has opened new, modern spaces for students to learn, following work carried out over the summer.
Three science labs have been extended and upgraded, while an internal courtyard has been turned into a third ASD classroom.
Deputy Principal Robert Morris says the new facilities will make a big difference for students.
The school offers a wide range of subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science and Agricultural Science.
He says the new spaces will give students better facilities and a more modern environment in which to learn.
The classrooms were opened by principal Pat Murphy with local representatives and Dáil deputies Peter ‘Chap’ Cleere and Catherine Callaghan.
