A county Kilkenny town had a visit from a Minister of State last night.
John Cummins, who serves at the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage with special responsibility for Local Government and Planning, was invited to Keogh’s Lounge to help celebrate four local men, the longest serving in the Callan branch of the Fine Gael party.
KCLR News’ Edwina Grace was there and spoke to three of the men being feted with the fourth, Tom Mackey, unable to attend.
Minister Cummins outlined where he thinks Fine Gael is and where it’s going while also touching on exempted development regulations, windfarm guideline revision and more, beginning with marking the men he was in town to acknowledge;
