An inclusive downloadable colouring book by Carlow mother Rhona Cullinan features children playing, learning, communicating and expressing their emotions in different ways.
Rhona’s whose 10-year-old daughter Molly has Down syndrome, has created ‘Molly And Friends: Where Everyone Belongs’, and she told The KCLR Daily that the book underlines why representation and inclusion from a young age matters so much.
“I want to do my little piece to change the world a little bit, so that they are more included”.
“So that people are not afraid of down syndrome, are not afraid of children or adults with autism”.
Rhona reflected on her life since Molly was born, noting the positive impact that she has had.
“I am blessed, she’s beautiful”.
“She just makes everybody smile”.
