Members of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation at several hospitals across Ireland are set to stage lunchtime protests today.
The unionised staff across the country are engaged in a work-to-rule with an all-out stoppage set to hit the public health service next Wednesday (14th Oct) and again on the 21st of Oct.
Cost-of-living measures and the impact that’s having on staffing in work locations is to the fore according to union reps.
Impacted facilities for today do not include St Luke’s General for Carlow and Kilkenny, but the following are listed for the one-hour action from 12:30pm;
- Cork University Hospital
- St Vincent’s University Hospital
- Mater Public
- OLOL Drogheda
- Galway University Hospital
- Letterkenny University Hospital
- University Hospital Limerick
- Midlands Regional Hospital
- Mullingar
- Naas General Hospital
