Two Carlow players have been shortlisted for the TG4 Junior Player of the Year award.
Sara Doyle and Róisín Bailey are among the three nominees for the award, alongside Antrim’s Maria O’Neill.
The nominations come after an impressive year for Carlow, who enjoyed success in both the National League and Leinster Championship.
They claimed the Division 4 National League title before going on to win the Leinster Intermediate Championship.
Carlow then reached the All-Ireland Junior Final, where they were beaten by Antrim, but the campaign has still earned recognition for Doyle and Bailey with both now in contention for the individual award.
The TG4 Junior Player of the Year will be announced alongside the other end-of-season awards.
