A man being questioned over the murders of Philip and Kim English and 2 of their children in Waterford, was on early release from prison.
Gardai are still holding a man in his 20’s and a woman in her 30’s about the firebomb attack at the families home in the early hours of Tuesday.
2 other children are still in a critical condition in hospital.
Crime Editor of the Irish Sun, Stephen Breen, says the male suspect had only just been released from custody,
“The male individual who is suspected of throwing the incendiary device at the home of Kevin and Philip English is someone who has been in custody recently. He had served two years of a three-and-a-half-year sentence he received for possession of knives, burglary, and he was due to be released next month”
