Carlow Councillors are set to mark the launch this morning of an Active Travel initiative under the Safe Routes to School programme.
From 11am they’ll gather at Queen of the Universe NS in Bagenalstown before moving onto the nearby St Brigid’s NS.

It comes as safety enhancement works were recently completed through a partnership involving the county council, the National Transport Authority and An Taisce.
