Castlecomer District Councillor Mary Hilda Cavanagh says motorists are being left frustrated by repeated road closures and traffic delays linked to works.
She says roads around Clomanta, Tullaroan and Kilcreene are repeatedly opening and closing, forcing drivers to take lengthy diversions.

At yesterdays meeting Councillor Hilda Cavanagh has also called for more traffic-calming measures in Kilkenny villages, including Johnstown, to improve road safety.
