Investigations continue into the deaths of four people in Waterford in a house fire earlier this month

Four people remain in Garda custody in connection with the investigation into the deaths of four family members in a house fire in Waterford.

A man in his 20s was arrested yesterday afternoon as part of the ongoing enquiry into the arson attack in Birchwood on October 13th.

Two people arrested on Tuesday have had their periods of detention extended.

The funerals of Kim and Philip English and their sons Jayden and Callum took place on Monday.
