Ronan wins at IFTA’s

Saoirse Ronan picked up the best actress prize at last night’s IFTA’s ceremony in Dublin.

The Ardattin woman,who was not at the ceremony, received the award for her role in Byzantium while the film’s director Neil Jordan picked up the Best Director gong.

There was no joy for Tullow Animator Eoin Duffy who was nominated in the best short film category for his production “Missing Scarf”
