Interprovincial team of 10 Results
Girls 40×20 Interprovincial Team of 10 event was help in Kingscourt, Cavan at the weekend. Kilkenny had three representitives on the Leinster team and they were Sorcha Delaney from Clogh Handball Club and Aoife Holden and Dearbhail O Keeffe from Kilfane Handball Club.
Leinster played Ulster in the first semi final and the Leinster girls got off to a great start dominating most of the games but the Ulster girls fought hard but Leinster progressed to the final winning 85 points to 78 points.
The Final saw Leinster take on Munster and all games provided excellent handball and exciting finishes and up to the last pair could have gone either way but the Munster girls just pulled away in the end winning 88 points to 73 points.
Congratulations to Leinster on their great achievement and the quality of handball and display of sportsmanship on the day.
