More than 19-thousand new cases of cancer are diagnosed in Ireland every year.
The latest report from the National Cancer Registry shows it’s now the second most common cause of death behind heart disease.

The Registry says the rate of breast and prostate cancer diagnosis is growing rapidly with diagnoses of breast cancer now at almost twice the UK rate due to screening.
