Carlows business people of the future have been honoured at an event in the town this lunchtime.
Young people in primary schools around the county have been learning entrepreneurial skills for the past few months and today their work is on display in the Seven Oaks hotel.
Prizes have been awarded in 3 categories – for teamwork Tinryland National school won for their wacky wristbands project
The innovation award went to Scoil Mhuire gan Smal for their oven glove that doubles up as a j-cloth and tea towels
The overall winners are from Gaelscoil Eoghan ui Thuairisc for their King of Counties card game
Businessman David Walsh – co-founder of International success story Netwatch has worked with them over the past few months.
