Carlow lose to Laois in Leinster group stage

Carlow’s dreams of making the knockout stages of the Leinster championship are over after a 1-22 to 0-14 loss to Laois today in Portlaoise

John Meyler’s side trailed from start to finish and were no match for the home side.

The result means they Carlow now need to beat Westmeath next week to maintain their status in the Liam Mc Carthy cup for 2015
