2 Kilkenny pupils in running for top honours in national writing competition

Two Kilkenny school children have reached the final of a national writing competition.

Ben Skehan McDonald from 6th class in Scoil Mhuire Lourdes in Mooncoin and Grace Rossiter from 3rd year in Castlecomer Community School beat off nearly 10 thousand others to get there.

They’re part of the final 21 in the John West National Fantasy writing competition which takes place today at the Mansion House in Dublin.
