Lots of political visitors for Carlow & Kilkenny today with 1 week to go until we vote

Social protection Minister is in Carlow this morning.

Joan Burton is opening the new Intreo centre in the town – its based at Kennedy Avenue and offers employment and income supports to locals.

Minister Burton is not the only high profile visitor we can expect locally today.

Fianna Fail leader Michéal Martin visits Kilkenny on the campaign trail this morning  – he will be in studio live with Sue Nunn on KCLR this morning.

Later on Minister Alex White is at Lyrath estate hotel to address the annual conference of the Irish Dental Association.

And with just a week to go to the local and European elections the Taoiseach himself visits later – Enda Kenny is on business in Cork and Tipperary first but is due in Kilkenny from 6pm this evening.
