Local TD calls for review of Homehelp cuts

Cuts to Homehelp hours need to be reviewed, especially those who have had their home help cut completely.

That’s the view expressed by local TD John McGuinness.

The Fianna Fail deputy has criticised the government for what he calls another “brutal attack” on supports for older people.

The local TD says that older people are finding it increasingly difficult to stay living in their own homes.
