Nobody elected after 1st count for #KK City West with quota of 1388. M.Doran FF tops on 1319. W.Hanczar eliminated
Daithí Holohan IND eliminated after 3rd count for #KK City East area. His 218 votes will be distributed. No one met the 1341 quota.

Piltown area has now been filled. Tomás Breathnach LAB & Ger Frisby FF fill the last 2 seats. 1 area down 3 areas to go.
John Maher FG lost out with 986, to Breathnach’s 1349 and Frisby’s 1164 after the distribution of Eamon Aylward FF’s surplus of 183 .
Nobody elected after Castlecomer 8th count, after Fitzpatrick’s surplus of 185 were distributed. Cavanagh’s surplus of 23 to be distributed.
Very close results after 8th Castlecomer count: J.Brennan FG 1323, M.McCarthy FF 1300, P.Millea FF 1463 and C.Redmond SF 1291.
Carlow/Tullow, FG’s Kathy Walsh has been eliminated, IND Walter Lacey is only 54 off the quota, Ann Ahern FF 80 off.

After 9th count for Piltown, Eamon Aylward FF has been elected & after 7th count for Castlecomer Pat Fitzpatrick FF has been elected.
Three seats have been filled for Castlecomer area.
8 of 24 seats now filled in Kilkenny. 4th seat just filled in Piltown and 3rd in Castlecomer
Sinn Feins Jim Deane has won a seat on the 12th count for Carlow/Tullow Area, bringing SF’s count to 3 on the council.
That leaves just 4 seats left to be filled in Carlow/Tullow area.
