Asthma Society of Ireland warns people of risks of warm weather

The Asthma Society of Ireland is reminding people to take their medication when out and about over the Bank Holiday.

Good weather conditions today could mean trouble for those suffering with Asthma or Hayfever.

Approximately one person a week in Ireland dies as a result of asthma, the condition affects 1 in 10 adults, and 1 in 5 children.

Thousands will attend festivals and other outdoor activities today where the pollen count is expected to be high.
