2014 Kilkenny Arts Festival programme to launch today

The 2014 Kilkenny Arts Festival is being launched today in the city and up in Dublin.

Thousands of people will descend on Kilkenny for the event which runs from the 8th to the 17th of August this year.

One of the highlights this year is the return of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre – it’s become one of the must-see shows on the programme and this year they’ll be performing “Much Ado About Nothing”.

The Dublin launch today is at 1pm in Merrion Square and Kilkennys is at 6pm in the Pembroke Hotel.
