Priests from Carlow and across the whole diocese of Kildare and Leighlin are meeting today to discuss the rising age profile in their profession.

Fr Paddy Byrne told Sue Nunn he wants the matter of priests marrying to be looked at seriously.
He also said they need to examine the reasons why priesthood is not attractive.
