Kilkenny’s Bolger wins big at Leopardstown

Legendary trainer Jim Bolger landed the €100,000 Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund ‘Nasrullah’ Handicap at Leopardstown this evening with 5-1 shot Chance To Dance.

Ridden by Kevin Manning, the Coolcullen trained gelding, who was carrying top weight, took the race by the scruff of the neck and did not relinquish his lead to the fast-finishing race favourite Magnolia Beach, who was a half a length behind at the line.

Chance To Dance carried the familiar white and purple silks of Jim Bolger’s wife Jackie to victory.
