A brand new aerospace centre at IT Carlow will be unveiled this afternoon by the Transport Minister Pascal Donohue at 2.30pm.
The 5 and a half million euro investment will see the local 3rd level institute lead the way in terms of Aerospace education with their own fleet of aircraft and a high tech avionics workshop.
College registrar David Denieffe told KCLR its an exciting development for IT Carlow and explains that already some large scale projects are underway there with students working on building an aircraft currently.
