Waterways Ireland says feedback from Barrow Blueway information events was positive

A series of briefings for local communities on the design proposals for the Barrow Blueway have finished up this week.

Waterways Ireland says the response from the meetings in Carlow Kilkenny Laois and Kildare was overall very positive and the feedback received will now be considered in the plans.

A planning application is expected to be made in March.
