On this week’s show, we talked to Terry Platt and Sean Keane about Pieta House’s Darkness Into Light event that took place in the early hours of the morning, we were introduced to SmartVote, a new web app that keeps us up to speed with the political issues of the day, and Shirley Lanigan joined us in studio with her regular gardening advice.
We hosted our second Carlow Kilkenny by election debate between candidates Kathleen Funchion, Conor MacLiam, Peter O’Loughlin and Elizabeth Hourihane.
We were then treated to some live music from Shane Joyce, we talked walks around Kilkenny and Carlow, Joe Doyle and Terry Bannon talked to us about the Joe Hill song competition, and Julie from Highbank Orchards taught us about all the things you can do with one apple!
