The hurlers of Carlow and Antrim have it all to play for on Sunday at Netwatch Cullen Park at 2-00 pm.
If Carlow beat Antrim, Carlow will stay in the Liam McCarthy for next season,
And across in O’Moore Park if Westmeath were to beat Laois and Carlow finish with a better scoring difference than Laois, then Westmeath go through and Carlow also in second place.
Carlow junior footballers will play Meath in the Leinster junior football championship on Tuesday evening May 26th in Ratoath at 7-30. Willie Quinlan is manager of the Carlow team.
On Wednesday evening the under 21 hurlers will play Laois in the first round Bord Gais Leinster championship in O’Moore Park Portlaoise at 7-30
In 2014 Dublin beat Laois and Westmeath beat Carlow in the opening rounds.
