Brian Kenealy is familiar to a generation of Irish music fans as a member of the legendary Kilkenny band Engine Alley. He has also been very busy of late with his own music and the latest album has just been released. It’s called “Farrago” and is the fruit of collobration with bass player Paul Byrne.
It represents a change in songwriting and recording as we hear in the interview and the album title suggests a mixture; we have soul, country, 60’s psychedlica and it’s a fine collection.
