Lost Lost African Grey Parrot (Kilgarriffe, Clonakilty, Co. Cork)Our much-loved African Grey parrot, Kei, flew away from Kilgarriffe, Clonakilty, Co. Cork, on Tuesday 12 May 2026 at approximately 18h45. We are still looking for her. Kei is 11 years old, hand-reared, very tame, ringed, and microchipped. She is deeply loved and very much missed. She may be frightened, quiet, cold, hungry, and sheltering somewhere nearby. The wind was strong at the time and was blowing in a generally north-westerly direction. Kei has very little flying experience and is not flying-fit. We would be extremely grateful if listeners in the Kilgarriffe, Clonakilty, and wider West Cork and Cork area could keep an eye out for her, especially in trees, hedges, gardens, sheds, barns, porches, roof edges, gutters, yards, and other sheltered areas. She responds to the name Kei. If Kei is seen, we ask that people please do not chase her or try to grab her, as this may frighten her further.
