Lives will be lost in Grange if the council doesn’t take action soon.

That’s the claim from locals in the Carlow village who’ve set up a petition calling for traffic calming measures to be introduced urgently.

Local residents and those involved with Grange National School say they have for years been highlighting the dangers associated with speeding there.

One of those involved with organising the petition, Sharon Timmins, told KCLR News this morning drivers are treating the road through Grange like a motorway.

The petition is available to be signed at Killerig Golf Course and online at ipetitions.com.
