St Luke’s has one of the busiest Emergency Departments in Ireland today

St Luke’s Hospital for Carlow/Kilkenny once again has the 3rd most overcrowded ED in the country this lunchtime.

Figures from the INMO show that there are 27 people on trolleys or in wards in the hospital.

Just last Friday the number locally was also the 3rd highest in the country.

Today University Hospital Limerick and Our Lady of Lourdes in Drogheda have more people on trolleys than St Luke’s at 37 and 33 respectively.
