Kilkenny’s Vintners’ Federation President says there’s no need to panic about tourism

A local business man says the vibrant pub culture in Carlow Kilkenny will help keep tousists here longer.

Pat Crotty, who’s President of the Vintners’ Federation of Ireland, a massive total of 17 local pubs have been recognised in numerous catagories in the Bar of the year Awards.

Pat’s own business, ParisTexas, in Kilkenny is one of those – it’s shortlisted for three different awards.

Pat says good food and entertainment in the local bars will help keep a new more flexible breed of tourist travelling around Ireland’s Ancient east.
