A man has died following a crash near Fiddown in the early hours of this morning.
The two-car collision happened at about 1 am on the westbound carriageway of the N24 Piltown Bypass.

Thomastown Gardaí say the second car involved fled the scene and they’re looking for anyone with information to contact them.
The man in his 20s was the sole occupant of the other car and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has now been removed to University Hospital Waterford for a post-mortem examination.
That stretch of the N24 is likely to remain closed to traffic until this afternoon as a technical examination takes place.
