Kilkenny woman (hand)bags almost €140,000 from Lotto ticket!

A Kilkenny woman is almost €140,000 richer today – all thanks to clearing out her handbag!

The woman, who wants to stay private, found a lotto ticket that she’d bought three weeks ago in the bottom of her bag.

She says she was “over the moon” to find out she’d won €139,025 euro – which the young mother says she’ll use to take care of her family.

The ticket was bought on the 6th of August in Dunnes Stores in MacDonagh Junction.
