10 years on from smoking ban VFI President admits its been tough but they wouldn't go back

A Kilkenny publican who heads up the Vintners Federation of Ireland says there’s no doubt that its been difficult for the pub trade since the smoking ban was introduced.

Its 10 years today since Ireland became the first place in the world to introduce a ban on smoking in the workplace

Gerry Rafter of Rafter Dempseys in Kilkenny says it was not easy at the time but they wouldn’t go back now.
