Over 100 jobs coming to Urlingford as the town’s “eyesore” is finally developed

Work is set to begin on a multi-million euro nursing home in Urlingford.
Over 100 new jobs are to be created at the site which was supposed to be used for a brand new hotel before the crash hit.
The skeleton of the building was abandoned 8 or 9 years ago and has been an eyesore for many people in the town.
Speaking to KCLR News, North Kilkenny Councillor Mick McCarthy says work will begin there shortly and it will take between 12 and 15 months to complete.
