It seems there’s some doubt surrounding the location of Carlow/Kilkenny’s new respite service.
Today is the final day for those interested in running the service to apply for the contract.

A HSE notice inviting tenders was posted on a government website last month, giving the address as Bagenalstown in Carlow.
However, local representatives at the time told KCLR they had been unable to get official clarification on where exactly it was going to be.
That address has now been removed from the HSE’s advertisement for tenders.
Bagenalstown Councillor Arthur McDonald told KCLR he plans to raise the matter at next week’s Regional Health Forum meeting.
