12 food producers from across Carlow and Kilkenny in running for awards at Blas na hÉireann

12 local producers are among the finalists for the Irish Food Awards.

Blas na hÉireann is underway in Dingle and winners are due to be revealed later today (Friday).

Kilkenny’s representatives are Callan Bacon, Eurospar Kilkenny, Goatsbridge Fish Processors Ltd, Highbank Orchards, Lekker food collection, Lisduggan Farm Foods and Outdoor Herbalist.

While Carlow competitors are Lynchs For Goodness Cakes, Murphy’s Craft Butchers, Seerys, Sunshine Juice Ltd and The Chocolate Garden of Ireland.
