There’s a major jobs boost in Kilkenny today with 130 news positions announced.
Financial services company Carne has announced 50 new jobs in the their new premises in Danville Business Park in the city.

Speaking to KCLR, CEO of Carne John Donoghue said the biggest driver was the talent available in Kilkenny and the greater region.
Meanwhile Taxback International have also announced 80 new jobs at a ceremony in the Medieval Mile Museum.
Catherine Quirke, Chief commercial officer with Taxback, told KCLR she has “no doubt” the roles will be filled easily with the highest quality candidates.
