160 jobs saved for now at Dan Morrisseys in Carlow as examiner is appointed

160 jobs have been saved for now at one of Carlow’s top employers.

 

Dan Morrisseys were granted an examiner by the high court in the last hour before the 5pm deadline.

Manager of Dan Morrisseys Aiden Doyle, local tds John McGuinness and Pat Deering joined Carlow councillors and workers to discuss the issue

 

A lot of anger was directed at the banks who appointed a receiver on Wednesday at 6pm

 

Many at the meeting today said that the company has an order book in excess of 8 million euro.
