19 local Dentists are offering free examinations today for Mouth Cancer Awareness Day.
300 cases of mouth cancer are detected in Ireland each year, while around 100 people die from the disease.
Its the 5th year of the initiative and 10 dental practices in Kilkenny are participating with 9 in Carlow also offering free checks throughout the day.
