What was happening in Carlow and Kilkenny this week in 1916?

In Kilkenny there was a meeting to talk about establishing a co-operative creamery in Ballyragget, while in Carlow the Typographical Association are not happy about the paper shortages as a result of World War I and families of those with serving soldiers were honoured at an elaborate event!
