It’s thought that a pair of paintings by Callan artist Tony O’Malley could be sold at auction for a hundred times their guide price of €30,000.
The two works are up for Sale at Christies in London on St Patricks Day.
But they were painted on the back of a board that has an unfinished nude by the world’s 2nd most expensive artist – Francis Bacon.
Kilkenny Journalist and Irish Times Art Correspondent Michael Parsons told KCLR news they’re likely to make millions.
