Up to 2 thousand people are taking part in the Kilkenny Triathlon which is taking part in the city today.
It got underway at 9 this morning with more individual competitions starting at different times across the morning.
Competitors will cycle, run and swim on routes around the city so do expect some traffic disruption and it all finishes this evening at 5 o c lock.
