The Irish National Sheepdog trials kick off in Kilkenny today.
The event in Tullyvolty in Johnstown runs until Saturday afternoon with 150 dogs and their handlers competing.

They’ll be hoping to win one of 15 places on the Irish team for the International sheepdog trials which take place in the UK in September
Secretary of the Irish National Sheepdog Trials, Miriam Lettner, has urged the public to get out and support the event which gets underway today.
