3 Gardai stationed in Carlow were injured while escorting a person to St Lukes hospital in Kilkenny in the early hours of this morning.
It happened in the Emergency Department at the hospital at around 1am – the patient became agitated and 3 Gardai – 2 of them female – suffered injuries.
1 of them remains in hospital for a procedure today.
