“There’s a huge fear and huge worry there will be a serious, serious accident along that road”.

That’s what Cllr Deirdre Cullen had to say at a recent meeting about a stretch of the R704 Mullinavat / New Ross route.

During a discussion on speed limits, the local FF representative highlighted a problematic section between the Golf Club and Rosbercon.

Cllr Cullen called for a reduction to 50km per hour there and outlined why;
